Why Do My Roku Remote Batteries Drain Fast
The AA batteries for my heftier remote for my Ultra last ages as they should.
Why do my roku remote batteries drain fast. If the battery level is bad you got a bad remote. Also 8-10 days still seems really low when compared to all my other remotes. This is the opposite of what you would think but once I removed the usb power cord from the TV and plugged it into a wall adapter the problem absolutely vanished.
I have changed the type of batteries I use and it now take 8-10 days. My Roku-Ultra seems to go through batteries awfully fast. For heavy Private Listening users you might find using Private Listening on your mobile device instead of the physical remote will reduce battery.
The remote communicates movement to the Roku for gaming purposes. I have the 4k model that I purchased a few years back. At the end of the week check the battery level.
This even applies to the rechargeable batteries that I prefer to use. Please replace this remote with one that doesnt need batteries two or more times a month. Asked by Harvey 2 years ago.
The battery drains way to fast on the Roku that I have and I have to replace the batteries every few weeks. My Roku 3800 would drain the battery in about two days. I tried to find some way to contact Roku support in the proper way but could find only something for returning the Stick.
Is it normal for the batteries to drain that quick or do I possibly have a faulty remote. Private Listening via your remote control can cause battery drain especially if headphones are accidentally left in while streaming continues overnight. They typically work for a couple of viewings before needing to be recharged and it isnt long before they stop working.
